Dr. Sarah Khan is Board Certified in Radiology and specialized in Women’s Imaging and Body Imaging. She was raised in Illinois and received her medical degree from Rush Medical College in Chicago. She completed her Radiology Residency in Michigan, started a Body Imaging Fellowship at the University of Arizona in Tucson, AZ, and then completed her Fellowship training in Mammography at UT Southwestern in Dallas, Texas while serving as an assistant professor in the department of Radiology at Zale Lipshy Hospital.
Prior to founding Eve’s Breast Center, she worked closely with M.D. Anderson physicians and jointly participated in cancer research projects.
Dr. Khan is experienced in starting up radiology imaging centers and running a radiology cancer department in Arlington, Texas.
Dr. Khan is currently Medical Director and Founder of Eve’s Breast Center and Esthetic Med Spa. She is also a member of the Texas Medical Association, American College of Radiology, and Society of Breast Imaging. She has been recognized in 2018, 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023 as a Top Doctor and Top Radiologist. She has been selected Tops in Tarrant County by Society Life Magazine.
At Eves breast center, our patients are welcomed warmly from the start to the end. Every screening mammogram is combed thoroughly by a board-certified radiologist. If there is an abnormality, we take an additional step to call the patient to inform them of the need for a call back.
If a patient is called back for additional imaging, then our specialists will perform the appropriate exams and our radiologist will inform the patient of the results on the same day in office and go over the patients images at the time of service to give peace of mind. In the event a breast biopsy is required on a call back examination then the breast specialist radiologist will go over the procedure and the instructions. In order to maintain continuity of care, the patient can conveniently schedule the biopsy at our facility before they leave.
After a biopsy is performed at our facility by our radiologist, the specimen is sent to be evaluated by a pathologist. After receiving back the pathology results our radiologist will call the patient personally with the result. If there is a malignant diagnosis, then the option to help direct the patient for follow up care will be provided as well.
